Recently we have been kicking back with a glass of wine and watching a bit of TV. I find this a welcome break from my homework.
We have been watching Peter Kay's Car Share which both J and I loved. We watched him driving round the local area spotting the routes shouting ahh he's in Bolton there, now that's near Trafford etc, we know how to live it up us. Haha.
I'm currently catching on the channel 4 series Night Bus, it shows footage from a hidden camera on a London night bus. Quite anthropological really. We no longer have our night bus the company pulled it, shame really it was good entertainment to end a good night out on the lash.
We've also enjoyed watching Gogglebox.
What do you chill out in front of in the evenings?

How are you spending the bank holiday weekend?
Saturday saw Princess and myself having a girly shop for some summer clothes for her.
Saturday night saw me out on the tiles with my husband and friends round town on our once a month night out.
Sunday saw me at home clutching a hot water bottle with crippling sciatica. At 2am I was lying on the rock hard floorboards trying to stop the pain in my back.
Monday see's me doing a big clean through and a continue of my ongoing decluttering. (I will get this house free from junk if it kills me) However my sciatica seems a bit better today.
I'm also introducing more healthy food to my diet bit by bit at the moment. I'll blog separately about this in more depth as it's a bit of an experiment.
Hope your all having a good bank holiday?

Today is a day off for me no college or placement. The kids are in school as their school is not used as a polling station, much to their disgust as the local school to where we live are enjoying another days holiday.
I've been grafting this morning and had the joy of cleaning unpleasant things from Maisie's paw hence the sulking cat in the picture.
I've had loads a parcels today mostly jewellery making bits and bobs and the last part of pixies birthday present. I love getting parcels, parcels make me happy.
Now I've finished my jobs I'm off to continue with some knitting. I'm making a jumper in this beautiful mohair, this is the fun part of my day!

Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend. It went really quickly for me. The sun shone so the kids got to play outsider.
Today I'm on placement, hence why I'm blogging in my dinner hour. This morning was a but of a fiasco I woke up and kept going dizzy however I managed to get everyone ready for school and out the door for our bus, which didn't turn up on time. I rang school to explain I'd be a little late. We dashed in and made it for 8.55am in the end so weren't late. I had a feeling it was going to be one of those days.
Ah well chicken curry tonight and a plasterer is coming round to quote us on the bathroom.

This is last nights post I ran out of energy.....
This week has been manic to say the least. I am currently doing two days a week on placement one full day a week at college. I have my homework, my kids homework and all the washing/ironing/cooking/cleaning to do plus the big shop to do. I got to Aldi on Thursday night after dropping Princess and Peaches off at Brownies and by the time I got to the checkout I felt like tucking up on the toilet rolls and going to sleep.
But today is Friday (Bank holiday weekend) so 3 days off, no college this week. I'm up to date on my homework and housework and washing pile, we're having MacDonald's for tea outrageous I know haha.
Have a good weekend
